Announcing Tools for Documenting SOP Compliance
Slingshot has added “user defined” checklists to its application suite. Checklist completion can be required when posting a receipt or shipment and opening or completing a work order. In fact, any process can be associated with a checklist. Checklists provided documented evidence of compliance with standard operating procedures.
A checklist is a set of assertions. Each is a response to a question. Valid responses can be Yes, No, NA, or a selection from a multiple-choice list. After entering all responses, the user provides their credentials to sign the list. A list can require dual signatures. If this is the case, the first user’s responses are hidden until the second user has signed the list. If the responses differ, all responses are cleared and both users must reenter. Once both have signed, and all responses agree, the transaction proceeds.
A new version of a checklist can be easily created allowing your organization to adapt to procedural changes. The new version carries the original checklist identifier plus a version number. The relevant order, task, shipment or receipt will refer to one or more completed checklists.
User Defined Checklist functionality is part of release G2-15. For more information contact sales@slingshotsoftware.com
